The origins of Touring Caravans can be traced back to the Gypsies and showmen who spent most of their lives touring in horse drawn caravans. The worlds first tourer caravan was built by the Bristol UK Carriage Company in 1880. Modern tourers come in a wide range of sizes, from a tiny two berth caravan with no toilet, to large luxury twin-axle, touring caravans with every comfort.
